Get ready to dream the night away – Disney Starlight parade has made its debut at Magic Kingdom! The parade is set to officially begin July 20, 2025, but Disney surprised guests with a soft opening last night, and we were lucky enough to be there! It’s a dazzling new nighttime parade that blends nostalgia, music, and shimmering Disney magic.

What’s the Parade All About?
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away is all about following your dreams—and it starts with the Blue Fairy herself (yep, from Pinocchio), waving her wand to light up the sky. From there, you’ll be taken on a journey through beautifully lit floats, larger-than-life characters, and a musical score that brings it all together.
It’s nostalgic, emotional, and jaw-droppingly beautiful. Think: the heart of SpectroMagic, the flair of Paint the Night, and the storytelling of today’s Disney films—all rolled into one glowing celebration.
Who Will You See?
So many favorites! Here’s the line up:
● Asha from Wish
● Elsa from Frozen
● Belle & Beast, Tiana & Naveen, Cinderella, Aurora, and more
● Miguel and Pepita from Coco
● Moana
● Peter Pan and Wendy
● A stunning finale float that’s basically a dream come true: Mickey, Minnie, and friends riding a glowing train named Whimsy, beneath a sky full of “stars.”

When & Where to Catch It
● Two showtimes every night at 9 PM and 11 PM
● The parade begins in Town Square (near the fire station) then heads down Main Street, U.S.A., through the castle “hub” and toward Frontierland. This is a reverse of the usual parade route, which means better crowd flow as you exit the park.
● Just a heads up: Disney Starlight won’t run on nights with Halloween or Christmas parties, and like most outdoor shows, it may be cancelled due to inclement weather.
Exclusive Merch & Snacks!
This parade is also bringing some seriously fun extras:
● Light-up bubble wands that actually sync with the parade
● Glowing Mickey ears and Starlight-themed T-shirts
● A super sweet Starlight popcorn mix: think candy popcorn, mini marshmallows, white chocolate drizzle…yes, it’s as dreamy as it sounds!
● A Disney Starlight pin

Tip: Mobile order or checkout before parade time to avoid crowds.
