Yes, you read that correctly. I am proposing that you visit Walt Disney World WITHOUT your kids. I know it sounds crazy, but hear me out. . .

Disney theme parks are known as the premier family vacation destinations, and for good reason. Between the characters, the parades and shows, and the sheer magic of seeing that castle, there is plenty to love about bringing your children to the most magical place on Earth. And you definitely should!

But. . .

Have you ever considered visiting without them?

No strollers. No diaper bags. No keeping track of meal or nap times. No worrying about sunblock, snacks, or sandals that are hurting feet. No crankiness or tantrums or tears when they’re too tired.

This past January and February, I had the extraordinary pleasure of visiting Walt Disney World twice without my kids. I was on two agents-only trips, and I was surrounded by people visiting alone for the first time. Over and over again, I heard exclamations of. . .

“I went to leave for the Magic Kingdom, and all I brought was my one small bag!”

“I got to go on all my favorite roller coasters!”

“I had dessert first!”

And I marveled at just how many people haven’t gotten to experience the magic for themselves, without their little ones.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I missed mine terribly. And I definitely felt guilty (well, a little). I Facetimed them and bought them souvenirs. But I also enjoyed myself.

And then I had a thought. . .there must be so many other moms that haven’t ever gotten to enjoy all that Walt Disney World has to offer for adults. And so, Mom’s Day in the Parks was born.

Mom’s Day in the Parks is a long weekend at Walt Disney World, taking place February 28th through March 3rd, 2019. It is for anyone who is way overdue for a little down time, a girls’ weekend, a chance to unwind and have some fun just for themselves.

We’ll be offering discounted hotel rooms and theme park tickets, as well as a pajama party ice cream social, 2 themed cocktail parties, and lots of opportunities for fun.

This is the perfect chance to get together with your girlfriends that you haven’t seen in ages. Come with your mom, sister or aunt. Or hey, book yourself a room with a king bed all for YOU!

It’s the chance to come to Walt Disney World and do exactly what you please. . .with no limits other than your imagination. Eat all the things. Scream your head off on all the thrill rides. Stay at the parks super late. Sleep in. Do what you want. This is YOUR time.
