What makes this resort so special is that it’s truly a destination all on its own. Once you arrive, there’s really no need to leave. Whether you’re looking for relaxation or nonstop family fun, there’s something for everyone.
Our family loves spending the day at the beautiful beach, floating in the pool, racing down the waterslide, and winding down with evening campfire sing-alongs under the stars. There’s also miniature golf, a community hall with crafts and activities throughout the day, and plenty of Disney magic sprinkled everywhere.
One of my daughters’ favorite traditions has been pin trading with the Cast Members and searching for Tinker Bell. Every day, Cast Members hide a life-sized cardboard cutout of Tinker Bell somewhere around the resort, and guests set off on a fun scavenger hunt to find her. It reminds me of the activities at Kellerman’s in Dirty Dancing—there’s always something fun happening and memories waiting to be made.
When it comes to dining, you’ll have plenty of options without ever leaving the resort. There’s a large quick-service restaurant offering delicious breakfast, lunch, and nightly dinner specials that change each evening. You’ll also find a full-service restaurant, a casual bar and lounge, a small market for snacks and essentials, and even a character breakfast on Saturdays.
One thing to know before planning your trip: Disney’s Vero Beach Resort is incredibly popular. Rooms—especially during the summer months—book quickly and can be difficult to secure.
