Boo to you! The calendar still says April but we’re already counting down to Spooky season here at Middle of the Magic Travel! Walt Disney World recently released dates for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and we can’t wait!

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a separately ticketed event that takes place at Magic Kingdom select nights from August 11th through November 1st. The party features a variety of special entertainment, attractions, treats, and experiences and is sure to put you in the Halloween spirit. Here are three things I LOVE about Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party!

1)Party guests (of all ages!) are encouraged to dress up in costume and participate in trick-or-treating throughout the park. Of course, costumes are optional, but they do make the evening so much more fun, especially as you trick-or-treat at stations throughout the different lands. Guests with allergies can join in the fun with allergy friendly treats.

2)The party also features exclusive entertainment, such as the “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade, which includes favorite Disney characters in costume, and the “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular,” a stage show featuring the Sanderson Sisters from the movie “Hocus Pocus.” Special character meet-and-greets, dance parties, and fireworks shows are scheduled throughout the party as well.

3)The party officially begins at 7 pm and ends at midnight, but you can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4 pm on the day of your ticket and enjoy the park before the festivities get underway. You do not need an additional theme park ticket for the day or a park pass reservation – just your party ticket! I love spending the day relaxing at my resort before heading out to the party later in the day!

It’s “really-not-so-scary”, so it’s the perfect Halloween event for kids of all ages! Reach out to your Middle of the Magic Travel planner for help booking your tickets and tips for creating a perfectly spooky evening at Disney’s Magic Kingdom!
