On November 18, 1928, “Steamboat Willie” debuted as the first ever cartoon with synchronized sound, and a star was born! 90 years later, Mickey Mouse is still going strong as one of the most beloved and iconic figures in the world. It’s not hard to understand why a love of Mickey Mouse persists. People can identify with Mickey-he is the everyman, but his positive attitude and his willingness to keep trying, even when he fails, continues to endear him to his fans both young and old.
To celebrate Mickey’s birthday, fellow travel planners at Middle of the Magic Travel took some time to reflect upon the legacy of Mickey Mouse and what Mickey Mouse means to them.
