Thanksgiving week is one of my favorite times of the year to visit Walt Disney World! The parks and resorts are decked out in their holiday finest, the weather has (usually!) cooled down from those steamy summer and early fall months, and being in the middle of the magic is the perfect way to set a festive mood for the upcoming Christmas season! And just because you’ll be away from home doesn’t mean you have to miss out on that delicious Thanksgiving meal. While it won’t be quite like mom makes it, you can still sit down with your family for a traditional turkey dinner – and Mickey will take care of the dishes!

Thanksgiving Every Day of the Year!

The first restaurant that comes to mind when thinking about Thanksgiving dinner at Walt Disney World is almost always Liberty Tree Tavern. Located in Liberty Square in Magic Kingdom, this restaurant offers a Thanksgiving-style menu every day of the year. From roasted turkey to herb stuffing, macaroni and cheese, and mashed potatoes, this family-style meal is a great option for Thanksgiving day.

But you won’t miss out if you don’t have a reservation at Liberty Tree! Many restaurants throughout Walt Disney World resort add a traditional turkey dinner option to their regular menus on Thanksgiving Day. Here are just a few of the places you might want to check out for your Thanksgiving feast!

At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, The Hollywood Brown Derby and 50’s Prime Time Cafe will both add a traditional Thanksgiving dinner to their menus. Hollywood & Vine will include Thanksgiving options as part of their buffet selection.

Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you can enjoy an open-faced turkey sandwich complete with all the traditional fixings at Restaurantosaurus, or choose from two Thanksgiving-inspired bowls at Satu’li Canteen. Tiffins and Tusker House both plan to add turkey dishes with flair to their menus.

Epcot’s American Holiday Kitchen will be serving up roasted turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, and cranberry sauce in a smaller portion – perfect if you want to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner and still save room for eating around World Showcase! Sunshine Seasons in The Land is adding a quick-service traditional Thanksgiving dinner to its menu – no reservation needed! Have reservations at Biergarten, Coral Reef, Garden Grill, or Le Cellier? Choose from their regular menu or the special Thanksgiving offering.

Reservations Not Required!

No reservation? No worries! The following quick-service restaurants will offer a full Thanksgiving dinner on November 24th, with roasted turkey, cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes with turkey gravy. This special holiday meal will also be available for mobile ordering through the My Disney Experience app.

Intermission Food Court at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort
World Premiere Food Court at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort
End Zone Food Court at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort
Landscape of Flavors at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
Centertown Market at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
Contempo Café at Disney’s Contemporary Resort

Riverside Mill and Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside and French Quarter
The Artist’s Palette at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa
Roaring Fork at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

And we haven’t even mentioned dessert! There are countless sweets available both inside the parks and at the resorts – and there’s something to tempt everyone’s taste buds! From a traditional pumpkin tart with whipped cream (available at many of the resort food courts), to pumpkin spice beignets at Port Orleans French Quarter, you’re sure to find the perfect sweet ending to your Thanksgiving meal!

These are just a few of the Thanksgiving offerings you’ll find at Walt Disney World this November. Want to know if your resort is offering a Thanksgiving meal?
