Universal Orlando Resort is now open to the public! Middle of the Magic Travel’s agent Tiffany Kowalewicz was there during the preview to give us the inside look at some of the updated policies and safety procedures!
You can find the complete list of updated policies here: Important Information for Your Visit
Here are some highlights from the preview:
*Masks are worn at all times, except while eating and drinking. A mask is required for entry. You will also need to wear your mask while on rides. The exception is on water rides at Volcano Bay.
*Your temperature will be checked before you enter the resort. If your temperature is 100.4 or above, you will not be permitted to enter. We recommend you check your own temperature before heading to the parks.
*Hand sanitizer is available in multiple locations throughout the parks, including before you board rides.
*Social distancing markers have been placed in the queues.
*The Universal theme parks are opening with limited capacity. So, if you enjoy lower crowds, this is a great time to visit! There will also be reduced hours, and some rides, experiences and restaurants may have limited capacity, or may be temporarily unavailable.
*Universal is using Virtual Line for some of its rides, so you don’t have to wait in line! Check out the rides using this service in the Universal Orlando Resort app! You can also add cashless payment options and order meals on the go!
*And YES, characters are in the parks! To keep socially distanced, characters are not available for autographs or hugs, but you can still see, talk to and take pictures with them (from behind a marker on the ground).
