Holiday season will be upon us before you know it! But it’s not too late to book your extraordinary holiday getaway. Here are 5 of my favorite winter escapes that still have availability for December 2023!
Walt Disney World
Arrive at Wilderness Lodge to a huge twinkling Christmas tree and a roaring fireplace. During the holidays, all of Walt Disney World’s hotels are decked out in festive decor, but there is just something special about Wilderness Lodge’s cozy and welcoming lobby that makes you want to linger, with a warm beverage and a good book.
Take Wilderness Lodge’s convenient boat right over to the Magic Kingdom for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, where you will enjoy holiday fireworks, Christmas parade, cookies and cocoa, snow on Main Street and more. Be sure to wear your ugly Christmas sweater, and have Disney’s PhotoPass photographers capture your picture for the perfect Christmas card.
Then, don your holiday finest and head to a swanky, swingin’ soiree at Jollywood Nights, a brand-new special event at Hollywood Studios debuting this year! Pop-up jazz clubs wait for you with live music, festive cocktails and fun food, the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! show and lots more.
Don’t forget to indulge in a monorail crawl, to enjoy the life-size gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian, and take in all the holiday decor at several of Disney’s distinct resorts. Lounges and coffee shops will offer holiday libations, so you can feel fa-la-la-la-la fine!
