Today, we got the exciting news we’ve all been waiting more than a year for- Disneyland is re-opening its parks on April 30th!
Both theme parks will be open with reduced capacity, and new safety precautions put into place. The Grand Californian Hotel will begin welcoming guests beginning April 29th.
Guests will have the first chance to experience the newly-reimagined Snow White’s Enchanted Wish ride! Beloved characters will pop up in new ways and sometimes in unexpected places as they remain mindful of physical distancing. Certain experiences that draw large group gatherings – such as parades and nighttime spectaculars – will return at a later date.
As part of their new safety measures, Disneyland will be implementing a park pass reservation system, similar to what Walt Disney World has been using since July. More details are going to be released soon.
And for now, it’s exclusively for California residents.
